New AS 9100 Rev C Courses Available

Changing from the aerospace standard from AS 9100 Rev B to Rev C will involves a large re-write and a change of emphasis. To aid this process ABC Quality Management are providing a series of course to introduce the new Revision. The courses are broken down into these three sections:

• Introduction to AS9100 Rev C
• Differences Between AS9100 Rev C and B
• Internal Auditing AS9100

Specialisation (AS 9100 9110 9120)

To be a change facilitator for organisations enabling advancement from ISO 9001:2008 to AS 9100/9110/9120 based on the organisation’s own method of working and adapting that to a workable quality management system that will be of long term benefit to the organisation. The assistance can be delivered on site using the expertise that is already evident within the organisation or based on a number of packages as detailed below.

1. To deliver a gap analysis.
2. To draw up a master plan and time table to implement AS 9100/9110/9120.
3. To hold process meetings to identify the most efficient method of business operation.
4. Quality Manual development.
5. Process and Procedure development as required.
6. To be a change facilitator through training sessions and meetings.
7. Audit the organisation to ensure the effective use of the Quality Management System.
8. Provide expertise in the use of good root cause analysis.
9. To get certification through an accredited UK body.

The amount of work to be carried out by the consultant will be agreed in detail beforehand.

BS 25999 (Business Continuity)

The BS 25999 is a recent addition to the British Standards range of Management tools and enables organisations to plan for the worst and hope for the best. Incidents ranging from floods, fire and even to a lottery win can disrupt to a greater or lesser degree and take an organisation a long time to fully recover. Business Continuity planning enables that disruption to be reduced to a minimum and my previous career in the military provides me with excellent experience that can be used to your benefit.

General (ISO 9001:2000(8)):

To advise and introduce an ISO 9001:2008 quality management system using the organisation’s own procedures and inputs if applicable or to generate a completely new system to suit the organisation’s own culture.
