This ONE DAY course will give a basic understanding of the differences between AS 9100 Rev B and Rev C and their implication for organisations. The course will be a mixture of presentations with discussions on various implications of the differences. A chance will be given for each delegate to pre-prepare a question that is applicable to their organisation which will be answered during the course. The course will also explain the different requirements that have been implemented for 3rd party auditors during this change to Rev C.

Overview Description

This course is to give a basic understanding of the differences between the aerospace Standard AS 9100 Rev B and Rev C. Knowledge will be gained through the use of presentations and discussions. The course will be very useful for personnel who have responsibilities for AS 9100 Rev B quality management systems and need to progress to Rev C.

Course Techniques

An introduction to the subject is given through a series presentations and discussions. Interaction between delegate and tutor is encouraged through out the day to discuss various aspects of the Aerospace Standard. It is anticipated that the delegate will have some knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 and AS 9100 Rev B otherwise it is recommended they take the introduction to ISO 9001:2008 course first. Reference information will be available to keep which will include a ring binder with course material and handouts. All delegates will be awarded a certificate verifying completion of the course.
